About the Artist
So, who is the imaginative mind who created the dust bunny sisters and their wacky world? Well, he’s a grown man named Justin Raimey and his travels to Japan inspired the creation of Dusty Dirty Days. He’s seen a lot (and I stress the words A LOT) of strange and wonderful things during these trips, and Dusty Dirty Days is a reflection of these experiences. The concept of gijinka is an especially prevalent theme displayed in Dusty Dirty Days. What is gijinka, you ask (here’s a tip–anime bunny girl)? Check out the video below to find out.
So, as you can see, Justin is an interesting cat, and somewhat of an anomaly in the entertainment industry. He’s a Black manga and anime artist, as well as a Black anime game developer (download the pre-alpha demo to his game, Alien Up, here. As his brother and partner in creation, I’m proud of everything we’ve accomplished thus far with our characters, stories, and properties, and we both appreciate you supporting our work, because being creators ain’t easy.
This party doesn’t stop at Dusty Dirty Days! Check out our other series that we post weekly!
