There is an updated version of the Alien Up pre-alpha demo available to play. The new demo was made because of the feedback from the players that tried the first Alien Up pre-alpha demo. You can try it out here.

In this fast-paced survival shooter, space mechanic Chelsea Crisp fights off hordes of alien enemies, with some help from her elite squad members!

Fixes
That being said, the first version of the demo is no longer available. If you were lucky enough to try both versions, here is what I improved or fixed.
- Added more levels
- Adjusted the difficulty
- Redid the loading mechanics
- Now the player can reload at any point. Not just when the clip is empty.
- There is a reload window where the player can’t do any other action until the reload is complete.
- Player can now reload while crouched.
- If Chelsea is shooting while crouched and she stands up, she will remain aiming for a period of time.
- Life bars on the bosses.
- Damage feedback on barriers.
- Fixed the egg alien movement.
- Fixed the entire egg alien stage.
- Can jump while crouched.
- Assist character READY animations when the assist can be used.
- Some game polish and many other things.
The fixes made are not final. This is still the pre-alpha phase of the game after all. Now that the concept has been created, there needs to be a focus on creating the full game. The details on this game’s future can be found in a previous blog entry.

It’s important to know that getting actual player feedback really helped me make this game better. I’m not making this game for myself. I’m making this game for others to play and have fun doing it.
